A lot of the time you fear doing things. This could be due to any number of reasons, the most significant of which is the ultimate worst case scenario: failure.

This fear is the reason why so many people don’t get what they want in life. Safety ties you down, in so many areas of life.

Today, I made the relatively small leap of moving out, which I was dreading for weeks for reasons that, in hindsight, were minuscule and insignificant. If I had let that hold me back, I would have been stuck in a less-than-ideal situation for me.

This same idea is true for so many other areas of life. All too often, the worst case scenario never comes to pass. Even if it does, as long as it doesn’t end in death for you, there will always be the opportunity to get back up.

Don’t hold yourself back because of fear or dread. It’s hardly ever as bad as it seems.
